From our latest exploration incorporating brass wind musical instrument tubes, our Purple Tube Bug is both a brooch and a necklace! The head section is an altered brass trumpet tube slide end featuring bright orange epoxy resin eyes. The lower body is hand cast in semi-transparent two toned purple epoxy resin. Each wing is hand fabricated in sterling silver, textured and antiqued, making this a spectacular specimen. Included with this brooch is an 18” cable with a magnetic clasp bale to attach to this tack brooch.  3  x 3  x  0.5”.
