This playful Monopoly game image has been combined with our growing concerns about clean water and is part of our new ”20th Century Cameos” series. It is fabricated in sterling silver, copper and a vintage steel jack (altered.) The water is cast and carved epoxy resin that has been applied over gold leaf and paint, turning the water into fire, which swings from the faucet in an effort to draw attention to the growing consequences of unsafe water systems and practices. This is a very complex and compact fabricated construction and it is completed with our hand made and hand sharpened pin mechanism.
