This polar bear is cast in white and black epoxy resin and addresses oil exploration and shipping in the Arctic. The black represents oil that has been spilled destroying the habitat and the bears.. The connecting fabricated brass pipeline appears to show the cyclical nature of destroying nature in the name of fuel exploration, with the bear being collateral damage. The bear swims in an epoxy resin oil pool and is a wonderful table object when not being worn. Pipeline hangs from a 32” black rubber cord. Pendant size-1.5 x 3.75 x 1.75”
