New to our web store selections, Reamer Bee Brooch is part of our ongoing exploration of vintage tools. The body is fabricated around a vintage pipe bowl reamer that we have cleverly re-purposed and altered with brass striping. Sterling silver wings are heavily textured, pierced and added, as well as mixed metal and epoxy resin legs. Fabulous glossy red eyes in enamel paint and epoxy resin complete this fanciful insect. Fitted with our hand sharpened and sprung pin mechanism.
